Creative Skills
Many people would be surprised to hear someone equate computers with creativity, but computers are one of the most powerful creative tools available to us as teachers. Web design, with its ability to incorporate words, art and music is an area in the IT curriculum that allows cross faculty input. To emphasize that web design is a creative act with similar outcomes, but a different process, to other fine arts, I have created graphics and visual materials using Photoshop, to help emphasise the creative, visual nature of the web.
