Motivation
The motivation behind this project is the creation of a viable, long-lasting resource for teaching digital media, which I can use in my classroom practice as an IT teacher.
The project should be flexible and open to change and refinement.
Purpose
The purpose of this project is to facilitate the learning of digital media creation. It will draw on original material and available and appropriate content available online in a structured and progressive educational framework.
Target Market
This project is targeted at high school students from year seven to year twelve. It will contain units of work suitable for years seven and eight Design and Technology, years nine and ten Information and Software Technology, and year eleven and twelve Information Processes and Technology, and Software Design and Development.
The project will cater for a wide range of skill levels and background knowledge.
